Anyone up for a road trip?

I was meditating earlier tonight and I was supposed to picture my "perfect self" or some such nonsense. My "perfect self" has a beard and wears high heels. Who would've thought? I've got a long way to go before I reach enlightenment.

Do they really expect dividing the teams on Survivor by race to get people's attention? Is that supposed to be edgy? Split them by religion or sexual orientation and maybe you'd get people's hate boiling. But race? That not going to offend nearly enough people.

I participated in the Steelers 5k Race at Heinz Field this morning. My older brother (who's training for the Marine Corps Marathon) ran it in something like 22 minutes, my dad and sister walked it briskly in 45 minutes, and my mother and I walked it very slowly in a little over an hour. We were trying to come in last but there were five other people that were just too slow for us. We were bottom ten, anyway.

I think it was the most wholesome thing I've ever done (except for the trying to lose part).
